Jennifer Moran
Jen Moran is the Director of Marketing for VetsBoats. In this role, she develops and implements marketing strategies, creates digital collateral, and enhances the organization’s virtual and direct organization’s virtual and direct presence to support its mission of growth and service. A military spouse and veteran caregiver herself, she is passionate about veterans issues and the VetsBoats mission.
Jen is an accomplished marketing professional with a diverse career spanning podcasting, blogging, content creation, and digital marketing. Her journey began in 2007 as the creator of Mommy of Many®, where she successfully entered the world of podcasting and blogging. This led to writing opportunities for both traditional and online publications. By 2011, Jen had transitioned into digital and social media marketing, offering blogging and content services while managing client accounts. Most recently, Jen served as Marketing Operations Manager at Ave Maria University, where she led a team of 13 in executing successful campaigns, managing social media content, producing bi-annual magazine issues, and overseeing branding and design projects.
Jen's transition from blogging and podcasting to digital marketing was inspired by her desire to expand her impact and adapt to the evolving digital landscape. While her early success in blogging and podcasting allowed her to connect with audiences on a personal level, Jen recognized the growing importance of social media and digital platforms in shaping business strategies and fostering meaningful relationships. This shift aligned with her passion for storytelling and relationship-building, enabling her to leverage her writing skills in a broader context, including content creation, account management, and marketing strategy development. Her move into digital marketing was a natural progression that combined her creative expertise with emerging technological tools to help businesses thrive in the digital age.
Jen has been actively involved in her local professional community as an advocate for women's issues and caregiver support. She graduated from the 2015/2016 Leadership Rocklin program and served on its Steering Committee for two years. Additionally, she was a member of Assemblyman Kevin Kiley's Women's Advisory Council in 2017.
